Jog-a-thon 2025 is here! September 5th - 19th
The Jog-a-thon is College Park’s one major fundraiser of the year, and it makes everything possible for our students. Funds raised support all of our schoolwide events and programs, including assemblies, art, Bingo Night, All School Read, teacher appreciation, and more. Every dollar raised goes right back into creating memorable experiences and enriching opportunities for our kids.
There are many ways to help your Cougar fundraise! Families can share pledge pages online through email and social media, go door-to-door in the neighborhood, or reach out to extended family and friends. Many employers will match donations. Local businesses can also participate through corporate sponsorships - a great way to show support for our community while helping our school reach its $40,000 goal (and a stretch goal of $50,000!).
Jog-a-thon Day is more than just running laps - it’s a celebration of school spirit. Students wear their Cougar pride, music keeps the energy high, and parents line the track to cheer on the runners. We need volunteers to make the day a success - whether that’s handing out water, helping with setup and cleanup, joining the cheering squad, or handing out popsicles at the end of the jog. It’s a wonderful way to be part of the action and show our kids how much their efforts matter.

Fundraising
College Park Elementary School thrives because of our incredible students, awesome teachers and staff, and generous support from our families and friends. The PTA strives to provide engaging learning opportunities for our scholars, and fun family and community events. While the school district pays for essential learning and education for our scholars, many of our supplementary on campus assemblies, events, and activities are paid for by the money raised by the PTA. As our only major fundraiser of the year, all money raised at our yearly jog-a-thon goes directly to provide the programs and events that your love, such as:

- Family Fun Nights
- Recess Art Program
- All School Read (a book club for our whole school)
- Bingo Night
- Movie Night
- Red Ribbon Week Assembly
- Inside the Outdoors Science Program
- Imagination Machine Assembly (creative writing)

- Decorations for first day of school, 6th grade promotion and other events at school

- Class Act Program in conjunction with the Pacific Symphony and Segerstrom

- Millionaire's Club (for students who read over 1,000,000 words and hit AR reading goals)
